Thank you for activating your Radon Easy test kit. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate possible reading of your home's long-term radon level.
While the minimum testing period is 91 days, the accuracy of your result is significantly improved when the test includes the "heating season."
Why the Heating Season Matters
Health Canada recommends that a long-term radon test includes at least three months of the heating season (typically October through April). During these colder months, our homes are sealed, and the natural "stack effect" that draws radon in from the ground is at its strongest. Testing during this period provides the most reliable picture of your home's year-round average.
Our Recommendation for Optimal Accuracy
To ensure your test is as accurate as possible, we strongly recommend extending your test duration beyond the 91-day minimum if you are starting your test in the spring or summer.

Our system will use the duration you select to send you a reminder email at the perfect time to end your test and mail it back to us. By following this guide, you can be confident you are getting the most accurate radon reading possible.
